Girls of Verona
So I went travelling in Italy awhile ago and being someone who never wants to miss an opportunity to paint, I decided to do an art collection there. We were flying so it would have been difficult to take big canvases on the flight. Since I am clever, thank you! I decided to cut up squares of canvases of 60cm each. I folded these into the bottom of my suitcase and then packed some paints tubes and brushes and away I flew.Second major stop was Verona. We went to see AIDA at the Arena di Verona. We had to wait for over two hours for the rains to stop before the show could start. As soon as the orchestra started, the rains came down again and they fled with their instruments. Having spent a lot of money to come to the show, we were not going to give up easily so we waited for another hour while all manner of cleaning and mopping was going on at the stage. Sellers of ice cream and raincoats wandered constantly up and down, hawking their wares. At the end, we gave up and bought some ice creams and raincoats. Finally the orchestra started again, we watched the first half of the show and finally admitted defeat and went home. The next day, this painting was born. This painting is Acrylic on canvas, professionally and elegantly framed. It will complement the decor of any stylish space. 60cmx60cm approx.
