This painting is a social commentary about temptation and how we let it tie us up and make us prisoners of our own desires.  We are constant victims of our desires for everything, money, power, pride, ego and everything in between. 
  Like many people, I am disgusted by snakes but fascinated by it at the same time and this is why it features every now and again in my paintings. The painting also  reminds us of the story of Adam and Eve and the temptation of man.
